Sheela signed herself off the ship and moved through the limited area of the station. She blended in well, despite her being a rarity in species. The simple attire of nice dull yellow sundress, sandals and her carry-on.
She paused at the info centre and accessed it. Working via computer, contacted the station Quarter Master and gotten her temp quarters on the station. She cleared the console and left it for the next person, moving to her destination. Her new Station temp Den.
With a lot of the station under construction, she had to make a lot of detours, learning the route to get to various locations and her Den. She took in the Security arrangements as she travelled. It was typical for a vast station in the throes of construction for the Security to be few and far between. Especially away from the areas where large amounts of people gathered.
Sheela entered her temp den and settled in, relaxing as she tossed her carry-all on the bed, forgetting about it. She immediately left and returned by a different route to the main promenade area of the station. She wrinkled her nose at the limited facilities available. She moved through the station, looking for a place that provided entertainment, yet only a few people knew about, providing that they lived and worked on the station.
Sheela entered a dimly lit bar with soft, yet very current music to the times. She looked over the patrons in midst of conversations, drinking, game of card and several couples dancing over by the jukebox. She nodded to the Bartender as she strode up to the bar like she belonged there.
"Orange Slushy." She spoke loud enough to be heard, yet her voice wouldn't carry.
The bartender nodded as he took off to make her drink, while Sheela took a seat at the bar. Spun the stool seat around to look over the patrons and the entrance to the place. She listened to the various hushed conversations going on around her. So far from her observations, there was a few non-station personnel mingled in with the residents and a few Fleeters that like to patronize such out of the way dives like this one.
"Your drink, Miss." The bartender spoke as he placed her drink on the counter behind her. Alerting her to the placed drink.
Sheela nodded as she spun around and snagged the fast gathering condensation gathering glass that held her slushy. "Squee," in the way of thanks.
