AoO: Galen IV
On Galen IV at the Federation embassies sub basement there was something stirring, in the dark, the movement stopped, as a single security officer came down to check things and seeing an opportunity the movement attacked and caused the officer to scream, which gave the Bluegill the opening it wanted. When the deed was done the security officer quickly recovered his balance and returned to his duties.
Deep inside the security officer the Bluegill began evolving into a queen, and slowly began to take control of its host and before too long there was a spike that was sticking out the back of the officers neck, this was the gill that allowed it to breathe and was the telling tale of someone that had been infected. Luckily for the infected host another incursion was not expected by the Alpha and Beta Quadrant powers, so the Queens host made sure that the Cardassian envoys on Galen IV were eliminated and when it was time another person was infected with a Bluegill.
As the weeks and days went by only the Cardassian envoys who were on Galen IV mysteriously dies in various accidents and as the leader of Galen IV was now infected he asked the Cardassian Union not to send another envoy as some rebel group most likely the Syndicate had killed their envoy and it was no longer safe but any rulings that needed their decision it would be sent via holocom, the Cardassians believed this outwardly, but being who they were as a species, they were suspicious. Six days later a Federation Envoy arrived on the Tomcat from Galen IV with a case, this was an attempt to infect some of the key officers on the ship.
Among all this Mercenary forces of the Orion Syndicate try to take advantage of the situation.
